Votiro SaaS v25.08.03 - Release Notes – Support

Highlights

We are very pleased to announce the latest release of Votiro SaaS version 25.08.03. This version contains important enhancements to our product!

The following new features and improvements are added to this version of Votiro SaaS.

EULA Initial Tenant Setup - A new tenant's admin user must agree to the Menlo End User License Agreement (EULA) upon their first login before they can use the product.
Monitor Mode Enhancements - A red frame has been added when the product is running in monitor mode to reduce confusion with connectors indication. Enhancements were also made to the monitor mode for connectors and APIs to reduce friction.
Enhanced SIEM Integration - Votiro now supports sending audit events directly via Syslog for better integration with existing SIEM systems. This enables centralized logging and monitoring.
Password-Protected Portal Enhancements - To bolster security, the portal will automatically lock for 10 minutes after three consecutive failed password attempts, preventing brute-force attacks.
Menlo Use case - Drill Down: Improvements have been made to the end-to-end flow for file analysis and investigation, including the addition of user identity context.

Confidence Threshold per Data Type - Enhancements have been made to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives/negatives. The confidence threshold is now focused on main data types to reduce false-positives and improve overall accuracy.
* Currently the threshold management is controlled in the backend.
Privacy Playbook Adjustments - The privacy playbook has been adjusted, and the confidence level was removed. The new behavior will be based on a single, centralized playbook.
General Enhancements - General enhancements have been made to improve file fidelity when performing masking.

PDF Digital Signature Validation - The CDR engine now validates digital signatures in PDFs. A signature is considered valid if it contains a valid timestamp from a trusted Timestamp Authority (TSA). This timestamp proves the signature's integrity and validity at a specific point in time, even if the signing certificate has expired.
ML Macros LLM - New Lightweight Model: A new, lightweight Machine Learning model for macros has been introduced, which significantly improves detection accuracy.
New File Type Support
- Sanitization Support - Votiro now supports sanitization for Hancom HWP/X, Cell, and Show files.
- Detection Support - Votiro now supports detection for SQL files.

Box - The Box connector has been enhanced to ensure a scalable and stable product under load. Additionally, sanitization comments will be configurable.

Resolved an issue where PNG file sanitization caused an increase in file size.
Resolved an issue where in some cases Macro Removed event was not published in the UI.
Resolved an issue where excel files exported from a specific site were not downloaded as a result of erroneous file detection.
Resolved an issue where specific PDF files took a long time to process.
Resolved an issue where a CSV file was wrongly identified as an INI file.
Resolved an issue where some MOV files were detected as unknown.
