Running the Installation Wizard
Prerequisites
You must have administration permissions for the Microsoft Exchange Server on which you wish to install Votiro Cloud for Email.
Note
SDS-Connector may appear in several of the installation screens and installation paths of the Email Connector.
| 1. | Run the Email Connector Setup file. |
The setup wizard verifies if all prerequisites are installed.
If any prerequisites are missing, click Next to display the list of required prerequisites. If all prerequisites are installed, the Email Connector Setup Wizard continues from step 4.
| 2. | Select the prerequisites to download and click Next to start the download. |
| 3. | If prompted to accept the licensing agreement for a downloaded prerequisite, select the I Agree To The Licensing Terms And Conditions checkbox and click Install. |
The Setup Progress screen is displayed during the installation process for the prerequisite program.
| 4. | Click Next to continue with the Email Connector Setup Wizard. |
| 5. | On the Choose A File Location screen, accept the default file location or specify a new file location. |
Note
Votiro Cloud for Email must be installed either under C:\Program Files\Votiro\SDS-Connector
OR
D:\Program Files\Votiro\SDS-Connector.
| 6. | The setup wizard confirms the necessary disk space for installation and the remaining disk space available on the drive. |
| 7. | Read the Votiro licensing agreement and select the I accept the terms of the agreement checkbox and click Next. |
| 8. | On the Begin Installation of SDS-Connector screen, click Install. |
You can click Back to return to the previous screens if changes are necessary.
The Installation Progress screen is displayed with continuously updated progress bars. This step might take several minutes to complete.
| 9. | After Votiro Cloud for Email has been successfully installed, click Activate SDS Connector. |
| 10. | A window is displayed running a script file while activating Votiro Cloud for Email. When the window closes, Votiro Cloud for Email is installed and active. |
After the installation wizard is complete, the Votiro Cloud for Email transport agent is enabled on the Microsoft Exchange server.
