Deploying Votiro Cloud
|1.||To deploy Votiro Cloud, select one of the machines and run the command:|
|2.||Verify that a DNS is configured by checking the file /etc/resolve.conf.|
If a DNS is not configured, cluster deployment will fail.
|3.||Agree to Terms and Conditions, and continue installation, then enter Y.|
|4.||You will be prompted to enter the tenant name and tenant domain. The tenant name is the customer's name and the tenant domain is the customer's. In the example below, tenant name = votiro and tenant domain = votiro.com:|
IP addresses are required for the installation: one per machine plus one for the VIP.
For example, a 3-node cluster will need 4 IP addresses.
|5.||Enter the VIP for the Votiro Cloud cluster|
If you use an external load balancer, you need to configure the external load balancer to work with the Votiro Cloud cluster.
|6.||Enter the Votiro Cloud's FQDN, using lower case alphanumeric characters.|
|7.||The online mode setting allows the reputation of a link to be checked, ensuring the destination is safe. Links in the form HTTP:// and HTTPS:// are checked, if found to be suspicious the link is removed from the file.|
To select how to process files with links, use the online mode setting:
|a.||To send links to scan, enter Y.|
|b.||To not send links to scan, enter N.|
An internet connection is required to send links to be scanned.
|8.||Enter the IP addresses of the remaining machines.|
When using an external storage server, ensure all nodes in the cluster have read/write permissions. For additional information, see Using an External Storage Server.
|9.||Uniquely generated encryption keys are displayed on screen, and stored in a secret file. We recommend you make a note of these keys in a password vault, or similar. in case of file corruption.|
