Votiro SaaS Backup and Recovery
Data backup and recovery are crucial in protecting the integrity of business-critical data and swiftly restoring normal business operations in the event of data loss.
Votiro SaaS Backup and Recovery is based on the following features:
Daily Backup: Both Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS) and Amazon Elastic File System (Amazon EFS) drives are backed up daily.
High availability: The system is available across three different Amazon Availability Zones (AZ), so even a complete outage in one AZ will not impact the system. Availability Zones are multiple, isolated locations within each Region (separate geographic area).
Data restoration: In the event of data accidentally/maliciously deleted, the data can be restored from the latest daily backup. In addition, there is limited access to production.
Service availability:
| n | The system is designed for high availability, using three different Availability Zones, so that even a complete outage in one AZ will not impact the system. |
| n | We run multiple instances of every critical service, so there is no single point of failure. |
| n | We run on Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), so at the level of a single service, even if a service (pod) crashes, it will be immediately replaced by a new one. |
Limited access to production: Access to production is implemented based on AWS Single Sign-On (SSO), according to AWS best practices.
Encryption: All data is encrypted (both at rest and in transit).
