We are very pleased to announce the latest release of Votiro Cloud, version 9.6.3. The focus of this version has been on improving and expanding existing capabilities and resolving some open issues.
Highlights of new features and improvements in this latest version release include:
|n|| Sandbox integration – Added the ability to send any executable and unsupported file to Fortinet Sandbox, which will decide whether to send or block the file to the user.|
|n|| AES 256-bit encryption algorithm – Improved the encryption algorithm currently used to encrypt all the stored files to AES 256-bit.|
|n||License per consumption – In addition to the option to purchase a license based on the number of files, it is now possible to purchase a license based on file size that is sent to sanitization.|
|n||Log4j Vulnerabilities – To dispel any doubt, we have upgraded our internal product (elastic search) to reduce any instance of CVE-2021-4428 and CVE-2021-45046 (“Apache Log4j Security Vulnerabilities”).|
The following open issues have been resolved in this latest version release:
|n||Resolved an issue where sanitization of PDFs with a specific font results in a corrupted file.|
|n||Resolved an issue in a rare case where all PDF files couldn’t be sanitized in a short period of time.|
|n||Resolved an issue where PDFs with a very large number of embedded images take a long time to sanitize.|
|n||Resolved an issue where specific JPEG image files were blocked during sanitization.|
|n||Resolved an issue where the system could not sanitize files with very long names (more than 75 characters).|
|n||Resolved an issue where the system could not recognize an m4a audio file.|
|n||Resolved an issue where the user entering the wrong password for archive files in the password protected portal causes the sanitization process to fail.|
We are pleased to announce that no features have been deprecated in version 9.6.3.
