We are very pleased to announce the latest release of Votiro Disarmer, version 8.4.8.10

Highlights of improvements and resolved issues in this latest version release include:

Mitigated any instances of CVE-2021-4428 and CVE-2021-45046 (“Apache Log4j Security Vulnerabilitiesˮ) in our product

Upgraded ClamAV to the latest version, 0.104.1

Resolved an issue where ordinary Excel files, such as Xlsx, were mistakenly identified as Excel binary (Xlsb) files

Resolved an issue where some Docx and Xlsx files were blocked instead of just removing malicious content

Resolved an issue where some malicious office files with macros that were sanitized triggered false positive alerts on 3rd party security products

Resolved an issue where the system could not recognize a file as an m4a audio file
